Lifebuoy For Ninth Grade Girls and Boys

While this assignment is particularly designed for ninth grade students who have not produced any multimedia projects to date, any student can try his or her hand at this one.

The assignment is to set Marvin Gaye's Save The Children to pictures and video.
Even if you've completed the required 10/6 multimedia assignments for this semester, this would be a really good project to add to your multimedia portfolio.

Remember, all of your images and video must be on the beat!

If you want to try your hand at this assignment, e-mail me right away!

How many movies can you count?

This is a snapshot of my e-mail inbox.
All freshmen should be well represented here.
I should be receiving regular e-mails from you
containing links to your video creations.
You should also be working hard at home
and at school to complete your remaining projeccts.

All multimedia works are due by May 31.

More Tools You Can Use

Thanks again to Read/Write Web for this list of the top 100 Alternative Search Engines. I gave Sputtr (see image above) a spin and found it to be super clean, compact and very easy to use. Sputtr provides you with 36 search buttons in one window. It's one of the coolest search applications I've ever used.

picsearch is a picture searh engine. Don't let their light and lean homepage fool you. picsearh is a powerful picture searh engine.

This short presentation was created in Slide. Slide is one of several web based multimedia creation tools I stumbled upon over the weekend.
